Food and Coat Giveaway and Celebrating S.U.N. 8th Anniversary

Safe United Neighborhoods, aka S. U. N., is a non profit organization with the mission to promote a clean and safe environment for the N. E. Community by providing youth activities, partnership with Wilmington Police Department and community walks; we also provide emergency relief for those in need and this food and coat giveaway is part of that effort.

In case of inclement weather, event will be held at Praying Ground Community Church 41 E 22nd St. Wilmington, DE

In order to be respectful and keep everyone as safe as can be, all viral safety precautions will be an important part of this event, including the wearing of masks and appropriate distancing, as well as anything else recommended at the time by our Governor and his advisors.

This drive in/drop off event of food and personal care items will benefit neighbors in need across Sussex County. We ask that everyone stay in their cars, with donations preferably in the trunk. Please wear a mask or keep your windows up when talking with volunteers.

Other collection dates are: Sunday, October 4, 1-3 and Tuesday, October 6,  9-12.
