If you have an idea for an event, but don’t know where to hold it, here are a few venues that may be free:
- Public libraries
- Schools
- Parks
- Churches and places of worship
Note: If you are part of a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, don’t forget to mention that when looking for venues. The venue may offer non-profit discounts.

Event Criteria
To be registered as an official Peace Week Delaware event, your event will meet our Event Criteria. Please consult these simple guidelines before planning or registering an event.
Register Your Event
Events should be registered by August 1. PWD has, in the past, printed and distributed postcard-size SAVE THE DATE cards. Be included by submitting your event early.
Your event must take place between Saturday, October 7, 2023 and Sunday, October 12, 2023 to be considered a Peace Week Event. We have, in the past, listed pre-PWD events and post-PWD events. (eventsmust fit the rest of our criteria).
