Peace "Delaware Style" through Art and Poetry
The Sussex County League of Women Voters and the Chesapeake Bay Girl Scout Troop 665 have collaborated to memorialize Peace, Delaware Style, through artworks produced by the Chesapeake Bay Girl Scout Troop 665 and poetry written by residents of the writing community in Sussex County. The artwork and poetry will be on display in the Lewes Public Library from October 7 through 30, 2024. The display is open to the general public during regular Library hours. Our goal is to demonstrate and communicate thoughts and feelings of “Peace” via a collaborative and multigenerational community effort. |

e to learn more about our Education Cultivation Program and how we are teaching students across Delaware not only where their food comes from but also how to grow it! We currently partner with 54 schools across Delaware. You can learn more about our school garden program or how to get involved by visiting hfhk.org. Join us for a beautiful sound bath of crystal bowls, gongs and much more, held by Chris Reagoso, a popular sound bath musician. You are welcome to sit in one of our chairs or on the floor or lay down and listen to magical, grounding music that your body automatically resonates with, surrenders to and loves. Bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow or whatever you need to be comfortable on the floor. Chris’s mission is to inspire, educate, and guide individuals towards inner peace, harmony, and self discovery through the transformative power of sound. By channeling the healing frequencies of sound, his goal is to alleviate stress, support emotional well-being, and foster personal growth. |
