Visionary Peace Youth Artwork

Visionary Peace Youth Artwork

Create your vision of peace for the 7th Annual Visionary Peace Youth Art Exhibition!
We invite young artists to create their vision of a peaceful world. The artwork is intended to foster dialogue and encourage an intergenerational response to create a more peaceful world.
Youth, from K-12, are invited to paint, draw, use original photographs or original digital images to create artwork that answer these questions:
* What does peace look like?
* What does peace mean to you? Or,
* What does a peaceful world look like?
All artwork and descriptions will be on display at the Wilmington Library on January 22, 2023 from 1-2pm.

Submission Directions: Artwork should be positive, colorful, inspiring, and answer the questions listed above. Artwork and a several sentence artist statement about their vision of peace should be mounted on black paper that fits within a 16″ x 20″ frame. A number of visions of peace will be selected to be part of our Traveling Peace Youth Art Exhibition.

Artwork submission deadline: November 1, 2022. Contact Carolyn Bitzer (cb@depaceminteris.org) to arrange artwork delivery.
