Participants are invited to use a traditional way of talking called Circle to share their wisdom after watching the video “A Palestinian and an Israeli, Face to Face” | Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon | TED. The Circle structure is rooted in Indigenous’ vision that considers every being as capable of creating wisdom while talking by engaging their whole being, mind, body, heart and spirit.
Being with their beloved community while sitting facing one another, each participant’s humanity surfaces as a gift to those listening to inspire, heal and help to understand the issues at hand at a deeper level. Grounding practices will be experienced throughout the Circle of Sharing.
Charito Calvachi-Mateyko, a Restorative Justice professional and Circle Keeper, will be the facilitator.
