“Power to the People: Confronting Voter Suppression Head-on”

"Power to the People: Confronting Voter Suppression Head-on"

More than 400 bills restricting the right to vote have recently been introduced in states across the U.S., many of them targeting people of color. Join us as voting rights activists come together to address current efforts by many states to decrease voting access, as well as the efforts in Congress to pass the For the People Act.

Presenters include Katie Adams, Policy Advocate for Domestic Issues with the UCC; Jill Itzkowitz, Chair of the Election and Voting Committee and VOTE 411 Manager for the LWV of Delaware; and Dr. Freeman L. Williams, President, Newark DE NAACP.
