Peace Week Delaware represents a unique opportunity for individuals and organizations to create programs and actions leading to more peaceful neighborhoods and communities in Delaware. Your volunteer help is essential in many areas, so please register with Peace Week as an individual or organization.
Following is just a partial list of the volunteer jobs needed to make Peace Week Delaware tremendously successful while laying a framework for future Peace Week events.
Join an existing program team: Lend your energy, sweat, and creativity to an existing event. See the Events List for contact information.
Organize a new Peace Week event: Have a good idea for a program that will educate and promote peace? Something that will lead to change? Let’s talk and see what works. We particularly need more programs for Kent and Sussex counties.
Mine the Idea Bank: Examine ideas already suggested for Peace Week events. Give a shout out for one or more that you think would be a great program to promote peace or catalyze change.
Educators: Promote Peace Week at educational institutions and, where possible, strengthen peace educations programs currently in place.
