Being a Force For Peace in a Fractured World

Being a Force For Peace in a Fractured World

As part of the Delaware Peace Week celebration, join people across the state and learn how to be a force for peace. A force that extends in three directions: to others, to our opponents, and to ourselves.  This event draws on insights from Valarie Kaur, a renowned Sikh activist, filmmaker, and civil rights lawyer.

Reverend Dr. Larry Peers, the minister at First Unitarian Church of Wilmington has worked with organizations and their leaders across many faith traditions in change and conflict resolution.  He was also a visiting professor at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace and taught Peacemaking and Religious Leadership.

Registration is not required for the service; all are welcome. The sermon will also be available on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/c/FirstuuwilmOrg
