The State of Homelessness and Affordable Housing in Delaware

The State of Homelessness and Affordable Housing in Delaware

This event will feature the most recent findings produced by Housing Alliance Delaware (HAD), which aims to advance housing opportunities, end homelessness, and promote vibrant communities. The findings will share the number of people seeking emergency housing, the cost of affordable and safe apartments, the rate of eviction, and the disparate effect of housing instability on people of color and women-headed households. Rabbi Sonya Starr, Policy Director, Housing Alliance Delaware, and individuals with lived experience with homelessness in Delaware will share how inadequate housing impacts communities and, most notably, what more needs to be done to find solutions to the housing crisis in DE. See https://www.housingalliancede.org/ for more information about HAD.

On-site registration will be available for those who choose not to book/register online.
